Real Solution nominated to defend Arlington Million

Arlington Heights, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Defending winner Real Solution is an early nominee for this summer's 32nd edition of the Arlington Million at Arlington Park.

Owned by Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Real Solution is one of four turf runners nominated to the 1 1/4-mile Million by trainer Chad Brown. The others are Big Blue Kitten, also owned by the Ramseys, Shadwell Stable's Ghurair and Martin Schwartz' Morandi. The Ramseys also have last year's Secretariat Stakes winner Admiral Kitten nominated from trainer Mike Maker.

Real Solution was elevated to first last year after The Apache was disqualified.

Little Mike has been nominated for the chance to gain a second Million victory to go along with his 2012 win. The 7-year-old speedster is trained by owner Priscilla Vaccarezza's husband Carlo. Little Mike capped 2012 by capturing the Breeders' Cup Turf.

Early nominations closed with 80 horses for the Aug. 8 stakes.
