Lexie Lou returns in Autumn Miss

Arcadia, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Queen's Plate winner Lexie Lou is the 5-2 morning line favorite for Saturday's $100,000 Autumn Miss Stakes at Santa Anita. The Autumn Miss has attracted a field of 10 3-year-old fillies going a mile on the turf. Lexie Lou, making her first start at a flat mile, will start from post 5 with Corey Nakatani getting the ride for trainer Mark Casse. The filly followed her win in the 1 1/4-mile Queen's Plate with a 1 1/4-mile turf score in the Wonder Where Stakes at Woodbine on Aug. 10. She has not raced since running a distant last as the 3-2 favorite in Woodbine's Canadian Stakes on Sept. 14 Owned by Gary Barber, Lexie Lou has one win from two starts on grass and 12 of her 14 lifetime races have been on Polytrack. Overall, she has captured six of 14 starts for $1,309,714.
