Shared Belief set for Charles Town Classic

Arcadia, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Top rated thoroughbred Shared Belief will make his next start in the $1.5 million Charles Town Classic on April 18.

Co-owner Jim Rome's Jungle Racing posted the announcement on its Facebook page. Shared Belief sits atop the NTRA National Poll.

Shared Belief is trained by co-owner Jerry Hollendorfer and ridden by Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith. The 4-year-old gelding registered a 4 1/4-length win in the $1 million Santa Anita Handicap on March 7 after defeating Horse of the Year California Chrome four weeks earlier in Santa Anita's San Antonio Invitational.

Shared Belief has banked $2,932,200 with just one loss in 11 career starts.
