Some of today’s top challengers might not be at their best at this 1 1/8-mile trip, which seems perfect for this horse. Been in the exacta in all four recent races including the G2 Royal Delta at Gulfstream, and offers good value here at 4-1 odds on the morning line.

Plus play an exacta box w/#1 Discreet Power

#11 Fuerza is knocking on the door vs. maidens with three straight in-the-money finishes with speed figures better than these. Sharp bullet workout at Fair Hill indicates current fitness and Castellano stays.

Play in exacta box w/#1 Discreet Power, who rounds out an excellent inside-outside exacta box play along with the top pick. Improved last time when switched to the turf and stretched out for Graham Motion, finishing fourth but losing by just 2 ½ lengths with a good speed figure at Tampa. Needed that last race off a long layoff, and now is ready to roll in the second race back from the sidelines.
