#1 Coasted seeks revenge over New Money Honey as the top two finishers from last fall’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf reunite for another re-match, and it will be this horse with the advantage this time at much better odds than the likely even-money favorite. Got a bad trip and no pace to chase last time in toss-out worthy stakes loss at Keeneland, and also had a tough trip in the Breeders’ Cup that cost her the win, however she’s more than capable of turning the tables with a clean trip and a solid pace set-up in this race at this longer distance.

Play in exacta box w/#7 New Money Honey, who lost her return race in the same race as the top pick’s loss last time out, but is another ready to rebound and must be included in all exotics in what will be her well-meant second race off the layoff. Breeders’ Cup winner is also a Graded stakes winner here on this turf course in the Ms Grillo, and she too is ready to round back into top form for this race that will kick-off the three-day Belmont Stakes festival in style.

Race 8

#4 Fair Point

Turf sprint Graded stakes winner is a giant overlay in the morning line odds at 8-1 which indicates she’ll be a tremendous value here against this big field. Owns a win on this turf course at this distance, and used the last race strictly as a return prep race off a six-month layoff. Now shows up ready and raring to go and is more than capable of beating this field with her best effort.
