#6 Beaux Arts

Solid second in career debut last time out at Monmouth, and now shows up at Saratoga specifically to run in one of these turf sprint spots because he figures to move up on this surface. Will be good odds for a barn that is struggling, but the competition in this field does not appear to be good and the strong workouts since last race indicate continued improving fitness.

Race 4

#3 Patternrecognition

Plus play an exacta box w/#1 Royal Asset

#3 Patternrecognition comes out of two good races for Chad Brown, both with high speed figures that beat out the rest of this field in that department. Second at this level last time, but won’t be denied against this field with another similar effort.

Play in exacta box w/#1 Royal Asset, who has upside at good 15-1 odds on the morning line and could surprise, at least for the exactas. Likes to win with 4 career tallies, facing some nw2L types here at a price. Needed the race two starts ago off a layoff, and then was a little too late with the wrong running style at Monmouth. Can’t be overlooked in the key third start of the form cycle.
