Race 3

#5 Dawn the Destroyer

Plus play an exacta box w/#4 Dancing All Night

#5 Dawn the Destroyer came back from a six-month layoff last time with a solid third-place finish, and could have been better but was impeded in the stretch. That race represented a nice improvement, and now further improvement should be on the way in this second race off the long layoff for McLaughlin.

Play in exacta box w/#4 Dancing All Night, who won the first stretchout attempt to break her maiden in fine fashion two races ago. Bounced negatively a bit last time, but now gets a great chance to rebound against a sub-par field, other than the top selection.

Race 4

#7 Double Dose

Lost a couple races against better horses, but now takes a ginormous class drop down to a level where he seems to tower over the field. In many cases this kind of drop in against claimers is suspicious, but trainer David Jacobson wins with these types of moves and doesn’t mind losing a horse to the claim in the process. Owns a win on this course and handles any track condition.
