Plus play an exacta box w/#5 Blacktype
#12 Forge stepped up into Graded stakes competition for the first time up at Saratoga and ran a solid second in the G2 Bernard Barauch. Earned a fast speed figure and also handles a yielding turf course in the likely event that it rains during the day.
Play in exacta box w/ #5 Blacktype, who is a multiple Graded stakes winner and earned a good win last time out right here on this turf course. Looms large at this level and is back in best form and runs well on both firm and yielding courses.
Race 9
#2 Carrera Cat
Two solid efforts in two outings so far and now lands against a softer field and at an ideal 7F distance after running bother shorter (6F) and longer (1M) so far. Gets easier assignment yet, and is also bred to handle an off track if this race gets rained off the grass.
