#4 Grandpa’s Arianna

Plus play an exacta box w/#3 Jacqueline D

#4 Grandpa’s Arianna knocking is on the door vs. maidens on both turf and dirt, so rain or shine this horse is the one to beat. Tried a new tact last time, extending to a big lead until tiring, but still ran well there to lose by less than a length and should be able to rate better today and get the maiden win.

Play in exacta box w/ #3 Jacqueline D, who exits the same race as the top pick and actually finished ahead of that horse in the same race last time out. Owns several in the money finishes and may not get as perfect of a trip as last time, but nevertheless is an obvious contender back at this level with best efforts that should be good enough to put her in the exacta, at least. In best career form at present, turf or dirt, rain or shine.

Race 2

#6 Pico Chick

Got claimed last time and goes out for the new barn without waiting to get out of claiming jail, instead opting for a confident slight rise in claiming price to $25k today. In the money in all four recent races, remains in good form, handles the distance, fits on speed figures, and gets in 7-pounds light with a bug rider aboard when projects to sit a good stalking trip.
