#1 Dance Rhythms

Plus play an exacta box w/#8 Miss Sophia’s Star

#1 Dance Rhythms ran a big effort two races back at Churchill when pinched back at the start, seemingly hopelessly beaten, but then rallied for third. Makes Gulfstream debut off a class drop to the lowest level ever, and should be tough vs. these based on her best efforts.

Play in exacta box w/ #8 Miss Sophia’s Star, who has been a beaten favorite twice in two career races so far for Todd Pletcher, but really didn’t run badly either time and showed improvement last time to finish third with a solid speed figure at this level. Tough to overlook and must include in exacta boxes.

Race 9

#4 Spice Lady

The day’s best bet goes for her third win in four career races today after returning from a long layoff last time out with a sharp wire-to-wire winning effort here at Gulfstream. Two good workouts since last race indicate continued fitness, and this horse returns at the proper class level today to enable her to run her win streak to two in a row.
