Has two excuses for his two recent races, including a bad trip in the return from the layoff two races ago, and then a good second-place off-the-turf effort last time when he only ran in order to keep his turf eligibility for this race. Now back on the grass and ready to rumble at a square price.

#1 ThewaythatIam lost a Grade 3 at Del Mar two races ago, but both of the other two recent turf outings since arriving from France have been good efforts with wins at Keeneland and Gulfstream. Good speed figure, will save ground on the rail, and reunites with the winning jockey from last time Jose Ortiz.

Play in exacta box with #5 Salsa Bella, who is the wild card in this field coming over from France for her second career start after winning the debut in fine fashion. Comes to the barn of Chad Brown and adds first-time Lasix and gets Irad Ortiz up for the mount.
