layoff, first with a maiden win two races ago and then with a third-place
finish last time while ahead of today’s rival Ascot Walk at this same 7F
distance and at this class level. Still improving and will be flying late from
off the pace.

who is the morning line favorite in this spot based on good speed figures in
three races in a row, all at today’s 7F distance. Needs to turn the tables on
Pink Sands who finished ahead of her last time, but adds blinkers and picks up
Irad Ortiz for the mount, which certainly won’t hurt.

Exited a key
race at Delaware Park in the Kent Stakes that produced the next-out winner of
the Secretariat Stakes at Arlington. This horse came out of that race to win at
Saratoga last time in an effort that looks even better now that the
second-place horse behind him already came back to win his next race. Owns good
speed figures, owns a win over the Belmont turf, and will handle today’s added
distance.
