#2 Daria’s Angel is a one-turn mile specialist who never
runs a bad race at this distance, particularly in the recent one-turn tries
including back-to-back wins at Belmont this summer and a close near-miss
second-place finish last time at Aqueduct. Speed figures at this trip stack up
well against these and she should get a good pace-pressing trip with Irad Ortiz
aboard.
Play in exacta box with #3 Satin Sheets, who takes a sharp
drop in class and picks up Manny Franco and will be sitting off the pace and
ready to close at this stretchout distance. Has the speed figures to be very
dangerous vs. these if able to get the distance.
