another go after getting DQ’d last time when best versus similar. In good form,
picks up Irad Ortiz, and seems to have solved his second-itis problems.
Play in exacta box with #7 Cotton To, who exits a
much-improved second-place finish at this level last time with a speed figure
that would easily be good enough for at least second in today’s race. Winless
jockey at the meet adds helps the odds on the tote board and in the exacta
boxes. Dangerous with a repeat of that last out.
Race 6
#4 Bally Squall
Trending toward the maiden win and ready to graduate. Added
blinkers last time out and stretched to today’s one-mile distance and turned in
her best effort yet for second. Meets a weak field and is ready to get over the
hump versus these.
