Plus play exacta box w/#9 Sister Kitten

Hanan has never run a bad race on the turf, with the maiden win at Gulfstream
followed by a third-place finish in the Honey Fox stakes (G3). Speed figures
stack up well against this field, and this late runner will save ground early
from the rail and then get plenty of pace to help set-up her closing move.
Play in
exacta box with #9 Sister Kitten, who should rebound this “all Sister” exacta
box based on her late-running turf ability. Needed a race in tough turf
distance assignment off nearly a year layoff two races ago, and then had no
chance last time on an artificial surface. Third off the long layoff today and
back on the grass. Ready to roll so don’t overlook.

First career
start was at 6F at Oaklawn last time for high percentage trainer Brad Cox, but
that race was too short and when he was bothered at the start to begin too far
back at the rear in a 12-horse field she totally lost all chance. Rallied for
third, and now stretches out to a better distance, and just needs a fair start
for a barn that excels in routes, with stretchouts, and does much better with
horses making their second starts than they do with first-time starters.
