fastest and highest-quality member of this field so far based on her Saratoga
maiden win followed by her $150k stakes victory last time out at Finger Lakes.
Takes the next logical step here today against NY breds, and the only question
she has to answer is the distance, since this one-mile attempt is her first
outing beyond 6F. Vulnerable, but still the one to beat.
Play in
exacta box with #4 Chasing Cara, who has an upset chance here today if the top
choice can’t get the distance, and offers good value at 5-1 morning line odds
with a great chance to at least round out the exacta boxes. Improved
dramatically last time out when stretched to 7F, and that effort is cause for
optimism today with the distance going even further to one-mile. Speed figures
on a steadily upward trend in each and every race, which is a great sign, and
the third-place finish in the Joseph Gimma Stakes was impressive considering
she is a horse that has speed but completely blew the break to lose all chance
at the start on a speed-biased day. Has a shot for low-percentage connections.

including a victory in this same race last year to go along with another stakes
win here at Belmont this summer. Broke poorly at Saratoga last time out, but
runs way better at Belmont and just needs a decent start to score a repeat win
here in the Empire Distaff.
