#9 Timeless Journey reeled off
back-to-back wins on the grass up at Saratoga including the maiden win and the
subsequent win against a solid starter allowance field. Rosario teams up
against with turf ace trainer Christophe Clement, and they form a strong
jockey/trainer combo. This horse remains in good form and sports a speed figure
from that last race that will make her tough to beat vs. these.
Play in
exacta box with #2 Pandamom, who lost last time when rained off the turf, but
had been going good in some of the recent races before that, which were on the
grass. Beat next-out turf winner Kilkia here at Belmont to break her maiden,
and since then has also run a big allowance effort for second at Saratoga in
her most recent turf outing. Forms a strong uncoupled 1-2 punch for trainer
Christophe Clement, who should sweep the exacta in this spot.

Win her
maiden race in fine fashion at Saratoga in her first turf route attempt, and
then went straight to the Grade 2 Miss Grillo as a prep for the Breeders’ Cup,
where she was well bet but ran into the likes of 2yo turf filly division leader
Plum Ali in that race, who proved too tough to beat. This filly showed good
speed and ran a solid effort for second with another good speed figure that
stacks up very well against today’s competition. Can get the lead and never
look back.
