from an extended nine-month layoff last time out and needed the race, but was
dropped to this lowest-ever correct class level and still ran a solid return to
finish second in an 11-horse field from post 11 at 7 1/2F on turf. Now ready to
improve in the second off the layoff, Gaffalione keeps the mount and some
beneficial extra distance is added and the post is better today. Ready to
graduate.

#2 Sweetsweetsweet
Plus play exacta box w/ #6 La Cara Bonita
#2 Sweetsweetsweet has the early
speed to lead and shouldn’t look back, because the Gulfstream 5F sprints favor
the speed horses and this horse should turn out to be lone speed in the race. Has
been knocking on the door in recent races, and looks set for a breakthrough.
Play in
exacta box with #6 La Cara Bonita, who was well bet last time in return from a
six-month layoff and will benefit from that outing and do better here in the
second start off the layoff. Finished second at this trip here at GP last time
and should be dangerous with another similar effort.
