Has had a
lot of time between the last three races on the turf, but has improved during
that stretch culminating in the big win last time out, and now finally gets a
chance to string two races together, indicating he remains in good form and all
systems are “go.” The maiden win here at Gulfstream last time out was a good
one going wire-to-wire on fast splits and clocking a good time and strong speed
figure. Irad Ortiz back abord with a great shot to make it two in a row up at
the next logical level.

#1 Gangly
Plus play exacta box w/ #3 Dark Ages
#1 Gangly is slowly stretching
out to longer distances with a 6F outing two races ago leading to a 7F start
last time and a one-mile try this time. The two recent races since arriving
from California have been solid, finishing second both times including in a key
race two starts ago behind a repeat next-out winner. Good speed figures and
draws the best post for a one-turn mile with Gaffalione back aboard.
Play in
exacta box with #3 Dark Ages, who stretched out to a mile last time out and
sprang to life with a much-improved effort to come from behind to win big with
a good speed figure. Returns at the same class level as in the win last time,
and has a shot to make it two in a row or at least round out the exacta boxes.
