lot better than it looks on paper. Got off to a bad start in 5F turf dash, then
had to be used to gain position to get back into the race and had actually
worked her way up within a length of the lead into the stretch before fading
late due to those early efforts. Blinkers on. Just needs a clean start to upset.

early-season2yo career debut at 4 1/2F last year en route to a solid
third-place finish, and had not been seen ever since. Was well-bet in that
first lifetime start indicating this horse has some ability. Returns with
first-time Lasix for a trainer that does extremely well with long layoffs like
this judging by her record of 4 wins with her last 9 horses (44%) returning
from a layoff of 6 months or more. Looms dangerous speed vs. maiden claimers.

Closed from
12th to 3rd in a 5F turf sprint when last seen on the grass, which was in a
prep race his return start off of a seven-month layoff. The two losses since
then were with no chance, first in a 1 1/8-mile dirt race and then in a 5F
off-the-turf race last time out on a sloppy track. Now getting back on the
grass again in a turf route for the first time since blowing away claimers here
at Gulfstream last season with a speed figure that would be enough to knock-off
this field at a nice price with outrageous morning line odds of 15-1.
