post and started slow to lose whatever chance he’d had. Finished second best
behind the runaway favorite and now gets off the rail and is ready to graduate
for trainer Jon Thomas, who wins 24% with second-time starters. Makes the key
jockey change to leading rider Luis Saez, who forms a potent jockey/trainer
combo with Thomas, winning 50% of the time at Gulfstream the last two years
(9-of-18) for a hug positive return on investment.

big in 3 out of 4 career races with all three wins coming right here at
Gulfstream, with the only stain on his record coming last fall at Churchill
Downs. Exits a win in his 3yo debut in the Holy Bull (G3) where he beat
Simplification, who came back and won the Fountain of Youth in his next outing.
Speed figure is the best of this bunch and he will improve in his second start
of the form cycle yet he is not even the morning line favorite. Owns good speed
but can rate and does not need the lead to win.

still seems to be getting better based on his best career outing last time when
winning the Fountain of Youth (G2) right here at Gulfstream for his third
career win and second stakes win at the meet. Rare breed can go to the front

recently. Tough to keep out of the exacta boxes.
