the G2 Risen Star Stakes at Fair Grounds over Lecomte Stakes winner Track
Phantom and over next-out Louisiana Derby winner Catching Freedom. Still
improving and can rally to get revenge for his nose loss to Dornoch last fall
at Aqueduct in the Remsen Stakes if Dornoch faces any pace pressure at all up
on the lead.

edged last fall at Aqueduct in the Remsen Stakes. Last time Dornoch did what he
had to do to win the Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream in a race that

Needs to
rebound from a poor outing last time but might fly under the radar at overlay
odds today as a result (8-1 morning line odds). Wynstock won the Grade 2 Los
Alamitos Futurity (beat Stronghold) but last time did not get a good start in
the Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn and then got stuck in traffic and resented the
mud getting kicked in his face on a sloppy track he didn’t handle. Baffert’s
“other” horse is always a great angle, and Wynstock should respond to racing at
this home track in SoCal on Saturday.
