KEENELAND
SPOT PLAYS
Race 3
#1 Cameo
Performance
Makes US
debut off a brief layoff after a solid second place finish in career debut in
Ireland where he dwelt at the break and appeared to lose all chance at the start
before rallying to lose by just a neck. Now returns for good turf connections,
leading rider Tyler Gaffalione, and first-time Lasix.
Race 7
#12
Notinamillionyears
Plus
exacta box with #7 Zipadoo
#12
Notinamillionyears nearly passed this allowance level when last seen on the
track last fall and now returns for top turf connections Chad Brown and jockey
Irad Ortiz. Brown regularly wins off these kinds of layoffs between races and
this horse seemed better than these when last seen just missing by a head.
Play in
exacta box with #7 Zipadoo, who was not far behind Notinamillionyears last Nov.
12 when he two met in an allowance race at Aqueduct where Zipadoo finished third.
Zipadoo faced tougher horses in two losses this winter at Gulfstream, but now
fits well back against this competition.
