With a 13-race card and big fields at Churchill Downs on
Friday, there figures to be at least one or two chaos races during the day and
why not take a shot at a big price somewhere on the card? Lisette has a much
better chance than her 30-1 morning line odds would indicate, and her real odds
will be good, but considerably less than 30-1. We’ll still take it. Lisette has
shown she is capable of a good enough effort for a win in a spot like this in
her career when she is in good form, and the third-place finish last time at
Oaklawn indicates that she has now rounded back into form and is ready to fire one
of her good shots. Both career wins came at this one-mile distance, and Johnny
Velazquez picking up the mount is a positive sign that a big effort is on the
way.

#7 Wet Paint takes her show on the road after dominating the
Oaklawn route to the Kentucky Oaks with three big wins in the Martha Washington,
the Fantasy Stakes, and the Honeybee Stakes by a combined margin of 7 ½ lengths.
Owns big speed figures and the right kind of running style to win this race.
Play in exacta box w/ #13 Affirmative Lady, who really has come
into her own in her last two starts since adding blinkers for trainer Graham
Motion and it seems like her impressive win last time in the Gulfstream Park
Oaks was only scratching the surface of what this filly might be capable of
doing. Ample upside.
