Good Cheer looms the
heavy favorite and legit trifecta key horse above the other main contenders in
the race. Brings a perfect 6-for-6 record into this race including a 3-for-3
record here at Churchill Downs in two-turn route races. Has yet to ever come
close to losing and appears to have no weaknesses in terms of today’s race.
Play
in exactas and trifectas with #8 Five G, #9 Tenma, and #14 Quietside. Five G was
the easy wire-to-wire winner of the Gulfstream Park Oaks in her last race and
will again attempt to shake clear up front. Looms dangerous speed. Tenma is the
best from the west from the Bob Baffert barn who won the Santa Anita Oaks in
addition to three other Graded stakes wins in her career. Quietside drew a
tough post but looked good winning Oaklawn Park’s two main prep races including
a win two races ago over Five G in the Honeybee Stakes.
