both career wins so far have come in Belmont turf sprints. Should improve further
in second race off the layoff and would be a handful in this race with a repeat
of that last effort.

Translate, who returns from SoCal as the favorite in this spot, sporting a series
of good turf sprint efforts that go all the way back to last year when this
horse was last seen at Belmont. Comes in off of a sub-par effort last time, but
Irad Ortiz sees enough to pick up the mount which is a positive sign. Never runs
a bad race, but often settles for second.
