outside post in an 11-horse turf route and then took a right turn out of the
gate to start last in the most recent outing when needing a race off nearly a
five-month layoff. Moved up into position and fought to the lead but was spent
from those earlier efforts and settled for second. Should graduate from this
better post position in second off layoff.
#7 Kawhi Me a River
plus exacta box with #3
#7 Kawhi Me a River was
squeezed a bit on the rail when trying to rally up the fence in the stretch and
settled for third when needing a race last time out off off a seven-month
layoff. Will benefit from that
last outing and should graduate with a clean start.
Play in exacta box with #3 First Law, who might have won
with clear run and no loss of momentum that he suffered in the stretch run two
races ago. Finished fast for third, was beaten a total of a length, and then
came back last time to just miss in second in the same race as Kawhi Me a
River. Likely to battle it out once again.
