Got off to a
brutal break en route to an eighth-place finish, but lost the race by less than
six lengths, which was the same margin of her deficit after the bad start last
time out. Also had trouble at the break two races ago when she broke slow,
rushed up, and then tired as a result of the early efforts. Doesn’t face a
tough field here and seems to have more ability than these. Just needs a decent
break from the gate to shine at 12-1 on the morning line.

invader who originally came over for the Saratoga Oaks Invitational (G3) and
was overmatched in that spot. Tried a more reasonable class level last time and
finished a close third but actually should have won that race but was hindered
by a bad start and later traffic troubles that delayed the closing move. Just
needs clear sailing to win at this level.
Play in exacta box with #4 Windfall Profit, who is a Shug
turfer that didn’t get off to a great start but ran well from off the pace for
third, beaten less than a length last time out. Runners from this barn have
been running big on the grass so don’t overlook, and Saez aboard seems to be
the right fit. The horse has been stuck at this level forever, but she fits
versus these in the exacta boxes.
