#2 Madera had no dice on the bullring at Charles Town but showed she still had what it takes last time out when he returned to NY at Finger Lakes and went wire-to-wire in fine fashion. Madera has a winning history here at Aqueduct with 2 wins a 2nd and a 3rd in four previous outings here. Speed figure last time sets her up for success in this spot, and she doesn’t need the lead to win. Looms a live overlay at 8-1 odds on the morning line.

Play in exacta box with #4 Eloquent Speaker, who returned from a layoff last time with a distant second-place finish and now goes out for a new barn trying to duplicate her success from Aqueduct last season when she reeled off back-to-back wins.

#7 Actuary

Switched to dirt and looked good doing it last time, getting off to a terrible start and getting back into it to finish third from post 10. Now returns at the same level and will probably be behind again, but will get a great pace to chase and will have an excellent chance to rally and win.
