#7 Sacred Oath switched from turf and synthetic to this Oaklawn dirt surface last time for local high-percentage trainer Norman McKnight and improved to be second with a strong speed figure after chasing a lone speed 1-5 favorite and never giving up in a tough spot to only lose by a nose. Handles the local surface.

Play in exacta box with #4 Ottothelegend, who also exits a solid second-place finish, doing so in a race where he got caught behind a quitting rival coming into the stretch. Finished well when clear and should be no worse than the exacta boxes again today with a clean trip.
