#8 Jackpot
Rocket got sandwiched between rivals at the start but went on to run a
solid third in career debut, just missing second by a neck when beaten an
inflated margin by a runaway lone speed winner. Will benefit from a clean start and more distance here at 7F

exacta box with #6 Electro, who makes his career debut for Todd Pletcher with a
fresh bullet gate workout in preparation for this race. Cost $1.6 million as a
yearling and is bred to be a good one. Flavien Prat aboard.
Race 12
#7 Griselda
Goes out for
trainer Chad Brown and jockey Manny Franco, and she could be a single in the
back-end of our late daily doubles along with the top picks in the Spinaway.
Griselda was not embarrassed in graded stakes races last year as a 3-year-old
and recently came back from a long layoff with a turf sprint prep race. Now she
drops in class, stretches back out to a turf route for the top turf barn, and
will be ready to roll in the second start of her comeback from an eight-month
layoff.
